Website
The following instructions are from when the service was running. Covi is no longer maintained, and the website may not work properly.
The web version of the New Southbound Duty Lookup shows its screens and field names in both Chinese and Vietnamese, for example 「學號 Mã sinh viên」 (Student ID).
How to look up
- Open the web page of the New Southbound duty lookup system.
- Enter your student ID. Letters in the student ID must be half-width uppercase; otherwise, no data will be found.
- Select 「查詢」 (Search), then wait about 10–30 seconds for the data to come back.
Lookup results
Results are listed in a table, one duty record per row. The fields are student ID, department, name, penalty month, reason, dormitory rule, number of duties, and cleared duties; see Understanding lookup results. If the data is wrong, contact your department assistant or faculty.
Interface and service location
After months of research and adjustments, and after testing in the university’s Department of Information Management, the website launched its 2.0 interface, with an improved display and features that make it easier for students to get started. Starting November 17, 2024, the website was integrated into “New Southbound Tool” on the TedSky forum.
