watchOS

Requires watchOS 26 or later and a paired iPhone.

What you can do

  • Operations: A timer for the trip in progress, and you can return the vehicle right from your watch.
  • Quick Depart: Choose a vehicle and dispatch it.
  • Pending Approval: Approve or reject trip requests (appears only when there are requests pending approval).
  • To Do: Items that need your attention, such as documents that are about to expire and trips that haven’t been returned yet.
  • Today: The number of trips and the mileage for today and this month, plus the number of vehicles in use.
  • Fleet Upkeep: The number of open work orders, inspections with defects, and low-stock parts.
  • Dark, large readings with one main action per screen; text scales with Dynamic Type.
  • Apple Watch has widgets too (watch face complications).

iPhone carries out dispatches, returns, and approvals

Dispatches, returns, and approvals on Apple Watch are carried out by iPhone, with the same permissions and sync rules as iPhone. When your watch says it needs iPhone, keep your iPhone with you, open FleetDispatch on it, and try again.

When data updates

Data on Apple Watch comes from your paired iPhone. The watch doesn’t sync with iCloud on its own, and the screen shows the Last synced time. When you open FleetDispatch on your watch, it gets the latest data from your iPhone. When your iPhone isn’t nearby, the watch shows the most recently synced data.

If the data you see isn’t up to date, open FleetDispatch on your iPhone and keep your iPhone near your watch.
