This policy explains how the official INSTW website, instw.org (the “Website”), and its public API (https://instw.org/api/v1/) handle your data. Each product (such as the FleetDispatch app and the Multimedia Health Education E-book Platform) has its own privacy policy, and that product’s policy applies to it.
1. Data we don’t collect
- The Website has no account registration, forms, or comment features, and it doesn’t ask you for personal information such as your name or email address.
- The Website has no ads and doesn’t use any third-party analytics or tracking tools.
2. Data processed to operate the service
- Cloudflare provides the Website’s network and hosting services. To deliver web pages and protect against attacks, Cloudflare processes the technical information that connections require (such as IP addresses, browser types, and requested URLs). For details, see Cloudflare’s privacy policy.
- Requests to the public API generate service logs (Cloudflare Workers Logs), which we use to keep the service stable and to troubleshoot problems. We log the request time, path, status code, processing time, and the product and language requested. Our configuration doesn’t retain URL query strings, and our application logs don’t include IP addresses, cookies, authentication information, or search text. The Cloudflare platform may add technical connection information to the logs (such as the data center that handled the request). Logs are automatically deleted after 3 to 7 days, depending on the Cloudflare service plan.
- Search terms sent to the documentation search (
/api/v1/docs/search) are used only to produce the results for that request; they are not written to logs or stored in any server-side cache.
3. Cookies and browser storage
- The Website itself doesn’t set cookies. For security purposes, Cloudflare may set necessary cookies (for example, to identify automated traffic).
- Your browser’s local storage (localStorage) is used only to remember your interface preferences, such as light or dark mode. This data stays on your device and isn’t sent to us.
4. External websites
The Website links to external services such as the App Store and individual product websites. When you go to those websites, their privacy policies apply.
5. Policy updates
If this policy changes, we’ll update this page and indicate the date.
6. Contact us
If you have any questions about this policy, please contact us using the contact information listed on each product page. For questions about FleetDispatch, email fleetdispatch@instw.org.
